Reveal of my Race Ready Yamaha R3

This is the unveiling of my Race Ready Yamaha YZF-R3. I've spent the last few months converting this R3 from it's stock state to the final product that you will see in this short video.

The Yoyodyne slipper clutch is an absolute game changer. Smoothest down shifts ever, don't have to worry about upsetting the rear and the bike coming down the straightaway. Phenomenal build!

Nice mods!As far as you know what I’d the difference between the Norton ohlins shock and general ohlins?

Thanks Ryan! The Norton model offers different valving resulting in a slightly stiffer suspension which makes it ideal for the track. The standard YA967 is good if you do street and track but if you only do track days, the Norton option is, in my opinion, much better.

Awesome build. Do you know if the newer model inverted shocks can be swapped on to the older model with no other adjustments? I'm hoping to upgrade my suspension soon!

Yes, but you'll need to get the whole set (including the upper clamp and fender).

What starter/kill switch is that mounted by the throttle? Did you just splice it in?

@@landry555 thanks brother, do we need to lower the fork height to install these clip ons? I always have issues with the clearance when installing aftermarket clip ons, I can't fully turn my handlebars into left or right side

Hey, my friend! No changes are needed. The cuff that holds the clip-ons will go under the top triple. No need to adjust the height of the fork tubes. I have no problems with clearance, but remember that I am using some race fairings. Hope this is helpful. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions. Cheers!

@@Nathan2692 Engine is still stock but I removed the fans and the bike runs a bit hot in really hot weather. So the Febur rad is keeping everything nice and cool!
