My man ! It looks great. Definitely a stunner. Caution on those blocks though everything I’ve researched recommends curing the blocks out in water to leach out all the mineral that’s going be released, quick alternative would be milk crate or purpose made bio blocks.
@TheFishCorner5 сағат бұрын
Thanks Bro! I appreciate it and no doubt leaching the cement is necessary. I’ve been using cinder blocks for years and never had a problem. Don’t really have to allow the fully cured cinder blocks to sit in water to leach the chemicals. I have them in my indoor pond and koi pond. No issues.

Always a whole lot of good energy coming from you and your channel , as far as the newest edition = PHENOMENAL & I will be looking forward to seeing the future inhabitants settling into " THE DRAGONS DEN " with the red & black finish and more on the way , pretty soon the last of Karen's and bed-n-the parent's basement haters will eventually grow up or just naturally fade away so you can focus all your energy doing it the Cleveland Way !!!! Great idea for the acrylic hinges and I was one of the many people that were devastated from seeing my first Black Arowana on the floor . They have a gargantuan field of view and the majority of them just deserve much more space than most have the ability to provide , so what you are doing is hopefully going to get more and more copying your Ultimate Enclosures that literally take DIY to the Extreme======from ceilings to the floor , oh that's right you haven't gone there .... YET !!!! Back to the present and I have been making a few mental notes regarding this and that . 1st is when your servicing your FX filters and you mentioned that the buckets ain't doing you any favors, if you have any interest in grabbing yourself a Utility container I think it's called but they have really been a blessing to have around, 10 gallons with nice heavy duty material and they make em in every color 🔴 also for your hinges possible idea what about a trailer hitch pin and clip? I see REESE makes them in all sizes should be about $6 at any ACE or HD. 💚💙

Nice tank, you've done a great job. On the double panel tank covers, you need to close off the open ends, because water vapor will get in and fog the panels and lower your lighting, then it will grow algae in between the panels then you need to rebuy the panels. I used silicon to seal the ends on my panels the second time, just trying to save you a little money in the long run.
