Excellent explanation of Epp, also excellent camera work on close ups. Thank you, looks lovely.

@@gerrysiebert8639 thanks Gerry. It was a bit tricky sewing with a camera in-between me and my work. ❤️

That was absolutely fascinating, thank you. I certainly do not have the patience or attention to detail for a whole quilt but perhaps some smaller projects! I love how you pattern matched all the stripes.....

@@sarahscott-ze1th thanks Sarah. This quilt has been nearly a year in the making, so definitely a slow project, which suits me fine as I can work it around all my other projects. I'm not known for my patience 😂😂, but when it comes to sewing I love intricate. Glad you enjoyed my special video ❤️

Beautiful piecing Kim, are you a teacher? If not you should be. Your quilt will be a real heirloom, is it for you? I couldn’t gift something so lovely in case it wasn’t appreciated and loved. X

@@linvin18 believe it or not I used to teach for Microsoft many, many moons ago. I love sharing my knowledge, but I think I'd find it really hard letting go of a quilt. This one is my first, so it's been a journey. Hopefully if I get quicker at making these up, maybe I'll gift them. ❤️

I agree with one of the other subscribers, you should teach, (like you have the free time 🤔) this tutorial was so clear and concise, well done you 💚

I think it's much easier to stitch from left to right stitching bringing the needle from back to front. You have done a lovely job Kim especially as its your first big project 😊 great placing of the images. With all the left over fabric how about making 2 pillow shams to match?

@@bevtooth thanks Bev. I must admit pillow cases did enter my head. I am loving this project. I've slowed down a lot as I approach the end as I'm being guided by those more experienced and taking all that knowledge in before moving onto the next stage. Have a great week. ❤️

Thank you Kim for such a wonderful explanation of EPP. I've only seen it one other time on a KZbin vlog and have thought it would be something I would enjoy doing while watching TV. I think I will try it with some scraps and see if I can do it. I'm not much of a hand stitcher so we'll see. The Tula Pink fabrics are stunning in the blocks and your work is beautifully precise as usual. Thanks for taking the time to show us. So impressive. Enjoy the final steps.

@@kathymcconville6428 thanks Kathy. Definitely have a go. Hexies, like the ones used in my cushion are beginner friendly. They are fun. You can make the smallest thing and it gets you hooked 😁❤️

Very interesting technique and your quilt looks lovely. Looks quite relaxing to do, but I would struggle as I have a slight hand tremor.

@@Yorkygirl59 thanks. I'm loving the process. Each step scares me a bit, which is a good thing. I'm terrified I'll do something wrong and ruin it, but the support group has been amazing. Just taking my time and absorbing all the info before moving on. ❤️
