I appreciate the renovation but I fear that Rome will follow the way of so many other cities.. becoming a place only for tourist, a city without a soul ! We have to look carefully to this massive issue for famous cities all around the world, especially in Europe !

You are right, it’s important to protect our authenticity. Tourists are always welcome and should sometimes try to fit in the local culture more rather than the other way around. I guess it’s a complex topic 🫶🏼
