I can only surmise there was either a typo in the script or the person did not know how to pronounce it properly and just added an L. If you are a fan of 80s and 90s shows (Spenser: For Hire; Vega$) then you should know Robert Urich, and how to say his name.

1. In the first season or two of UPN, your show had to be doing almost negative ratings to get cancelled, so it is amazing they even got complaint letters. 2. I was 15 in 1995. I watched the first episode of Nowhere Man. But even when I saw the trailer, I said: 'He can't find evidence he's Thomas Veil, because he's not'. Then I gave up. My friends loved the show. He stuck around until the season finale... which turned out to be the series finale. Then he said: 'How the fuck did you see that coming just a two minute commercial.' I said: 'His name means He who doubts cover'. And that's when I knew how bad the show must have been.
