Hello @Sense of Mind, unrelated to this video, but I've left a comment on an older video of yours about serotonin synthesis concerning the Raphe nuclei, could you please take a look?

So interesting, but can Taylor actually sit and listen without giggling every few seconds?

Do blind person from birth have visual halucination?
@juliapolak65998 ай бұрын
I guess not because neuronal wiring is different

No, usually the visual cortex didn’t properly develop the five H2 receptors, so there’s no visual hallucinations. Or at least that’s my understanding of it.

My understanding is that, in general, visual hallucinations have not been reported in people with congenital blindness. Additionally, I'm not sure that any studies on psychedelics in these populations have been carried out.

@@senseofmindshow a while ago I asked the same question in a shrooms forum and ppl gave a lot of anecdotes, the consensus seemed to be that ppl who went blind later in life usually had closed eye visuals, but born blind had no visuals. seems logically consistent to me, if the visual cortex did not properly develop at birth.
