To protect the chapel from mold and degradation, it is important to dehumidify the space and keep air moving to prevent mold. Maybe a solar power system. Dehumidifier concealed behind the alter with a drain to outside.

What a brilliant idea to dedicate the stars and raise. $. to get this done now. Please don't use pews. Stackable padded chairs specifically designed for worship spaces will serve you better. You can remove easily for crowded weddings and configure differently for special services and events. They can also be borrowed for events in other parts of the property. Have you thought of a re-use for the floor tiles??? Maybe use 25 of them, and make a little vignette with garden chairs in the woods. Or. use on outside of chapel door as a patio? Or outside chicken coop as patio??? Have fun with them!

When you panned to the ceiling 🌟 , I thought about each star representing a person who supported the chapel and it brought tears to my eyes. So glad you restored it to original paint. I wept when I saw the chapel,it is so beautiful. When you showed the stars and I knew that my beloved mothers star was there along with her brothers and that there memories are in a beautiful little chapel in France I was so overwhelmed. My uncle was a priest his name was Joseph. We had 5 children in my family and at the age of 43 my father passed suddenly. My mother raised us all by herself but my uncle was always there for support. I pray that I may visit someday soon. I miss my mother so much. My heart is filled knowing there is L'étoile Annabelle ✨She would be so honored.

Stephanie I know this has been a vision of yours a long time in the process. It isn’t just a gift to those who come to Chateau LaLande, it’s a gift to your community. I envision a lot of activities that could be planned that would bring in other visitors from around the area to view the chapel alone. Imagine a celestial choir singing at the holidays it could bring in paid visitors even if a small amount that could continue to be invested in the chapel fund for further restoration needs. Seeing the Chapel without the construction equipment was amazing! It brought tears to my eyes and when your friend said about all of the stars helped rebuild the chapel with the love from the star adopters. Philip you have to have room between the cooker and the wall ,because you need to have room for pot handles. Also if you put the wall to close to the cooker it is a nightmare to clean in between. Chapel is stunning
