Perfect spec. The ONLY thing I would have done differently, and I’m surprised you went so “safe” in the interior, is to have the same red in the stitching applied to the center panels of the seats! That would have been epic.

I have spec'd 1,000's of 296's on the Ferrari configuration and never has that color combo come to my mind. Tim absolutely has a knack for putting specs like this together. Obviously when you have the ability to physically own the cars it is way different but still. Credit where it is due! Cannot wait to see this thing in the garage.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I think the 296GTS and GTB are perhaps the most beautiful looking cars on sale today. Perfect size for a sports car and the performance, from what I hear, is stunning! I've always loved Rosso Scuderia (I prefer a bright red), so I think Rosso Dino is a spectacular choice! I'll never understand why people buy extroverted sports cars and then paint them in a matte or dark shade. Skittle colors my friends Skittle colors!

I'm glad to see the two blues side-by-side; I wanted to see that ever since you did your 296 GTS launch video. Your SF 90's Blu Elettrico is by far the more stunning colour. Seeing the two cars together confirms my thought the the 296 GTS' Blu Corsa is just a bit too washed out for my taste. Your Blu Elettrico, whilst a tad bit richer, is still a bright enough shade of blue that it captures my eyes and won't let go; stunning! It is quite literally the ultimate shade of blue! Your gray on gray interior spec is calling my name as well. If I was able, I'd borrow the Blu Elettrico from your SF 90 and put it on a 296 GTS wearing your two-tone gray interior. The only amendment would be blue contrast stitching. There you have it, my perfect Shmee150-inspired one-and-done Ferrari. (Time to see if the configurator will accommodate this spec!) Speaking of well-spec'ed cars, I should have never traded my US Spec 5-speed manual 1.8T 1998 VW Passat-not quite your league Tim-in Fjord Blau with a gray on gray cloth interior. I kept it from new for 20-years and have missed it ever since. With an updated OEM single-DIN radio featuring a USB-A port, a mobile holder clipped to my air-con vent and my iPhone, the only mod-cons missing were the radar (and camera) based driver aids. I expect you'll get all those with the 296 GTS either as standard features for daily road use or simply for safety's sake. That's a beautiful prancing horse you've spec'ed; I can't wait for your videos with it. Please make sure to do at least one comparison video with both your road focused Ferraris in a side-by-side drive after you've finished the break-in period. Then you can let them both rip on, say, a derestricted section of the autobahn. It'll look brilliant and it'll sound glorious! Well done Tim; congratulations! I should also say thanks for helping me recall fondly the old Blau-&-Grau car that I could afford! I miss her terribly yet dearly…. I can only imagine the deeply passionate feelings you must have for the memories and desires wrapped up in your collection, the colleagues who've helped you along the way and your partner/camerawoman. Carry on living every guy's dream!

I went for a similar spec in terms of carbon + wheels. Kudos for going for something different, particularly the interior. I did Abu Dhabi blue, which is great. I got it at the start of summer and it's been amazing. Enjoy when she arrives!
