Ferrari seem to be staying further and further from naturally beautiful design with every model in recent years, the next one will look even more like an AI update of a timeless Ferrari. They need to go back to basics. It feels like too many people are in the design room, on computers trying to algorithm the perfect design, instead of one guy with a pencil and paper and a passionate dream. Like the Apple of supercars. Way too over designed, where's the simple natural flowing lines, come on, I expected this from McLaren or Lamborghini but not Ferrari.

I don't understand what people find so bad about this. It's not beautiful like Pininfarina designs but that wasn't really the case with the F40 and F50 either. Those cars were more striking and revolutionary, than this car. I see what Ferrari was trying to do, personally though, I feel like it kinda fits a modern version of its predecessors but I just don't think it feels naturally iconic as those cars did, idk, time will tell, I think it will be a great machine either way. I would never say it's bad looking though.

I just want to point out to all the people that when the Enzo came out, it was an enormoulsy criticised design, and people hated it (despite it being quite literally named after the founder). Just as well as features as the gearbox and it's digital display on the instrument cluster. Fast forward 20 odd years and it turned out to be one of the most legendary cars they have ever put out, so I'll keep my scepticism reserved before I learn more about the car.

Ferrari nailed it in my opinion. Its a formula 1/WEC road example of their engine and drive train technology. This is the evolution of the hypercar.. Lets be real, none of us commentling will get to drive one. Absolutley stunning car and I'm so glad they are calling it the F80 instead of the F250..

I honestly think manufacturers should not focus their time on 0-60 figures but rather try to keep the v12s and the manuals as much as possible. I don't care if this car makes the 0-60 in 2.1 or 2.5 but I do care if it has a v12. It just feels like it has no soul just like the W1 in my opinion

Believe me the design will grow on you. Reading all the negative comments reminds me of the introduction of the LaF. People said it had no elegance, looked like a bug, way uglier than the Enzo..etc. Exactly the same is happening now with people praising the LaF.

IMO: I do not like the F80 at all. There is just so much going on I feel like the beauty of Ferrari has been lost because they want the car to look "crazy" based upon other cars in this segment at this moment. Maybe the red is just exposing the "busyness" to my eyes and another color would work.
