It can be quite a concept to older generations. It’s understandable since that’s all they know, but I lose respect when they don’t try to understand and learn. I think non-binary exists because there’s just so many gender norms and standards and not everyone wants to follow that. Really wish people focused more on the individual rather than their appearance, gender, orientation. There are way more accepting people in the world than you might think. You will find the right people. It gets better, just give it some time.
