I actually believe the kpop trainee story because alot of ex idols have told stories of them dating while it's not allowed and getting away with it and lots of ex idols have been kicked out of the company bc they get caught. The one about the Kpop company is unfortunately very true. Idols are expected to look perfect, so young and beautiful/handsome (this is why the men wear makeup, it’s also a part of Korean tradition and culture) as well as being talented, so songwriting, dancing, singing, rapping etc. So there have actually been numerous instances of idols collapsing on stage or throughout the day, getting physically ill, suffering mental illness and in the worst cases can cost them their lives. It’s an extremely tiring, difficult and stressful lifestyle that not everybody can handle. 😞
