I have a few discrepancies between my memory of these verses and this song. "kindreds.... who wail" to me I recall "tribes of the earth who mourn" and "the beginning and the ending" I thought was "beginning and the end." Is this a case of Mandela Effect or just different Bible verses?

Hi Zoe, the text from this version is taken directly from the King James Bible (KJV). The older version uses the New King James (NKJV). There are some differences in the lyrics because of that.
