What an encouraging message. It really lights a fire under me to go out and plunder the enemy's territory. Praise God for Pastor Matt's calls to push back the darkness.

How are we in the millennium? When in earth's history did the sun and moon go dark?

How does that work out with rev. 20-4? Ruling with Jesus for a thousand years? Thank you
@noblejuh20433 жыл бұрын
@@njrumenjrume7222 He said he thought that we were in the millennial rain. The millennial rain does not happen until after wrath. Wrath doesn't happen until the 2nd coming after the abomination of desolation mid Daniels 70th week. So if we were in the millennial rain like the preacher said, Then in history we would have seen all the calamities of wrath. we would have seen the abomination of desolation in the temple. So what I'm saying is that the seals have not been broken and the trumpets have not sound. Thus we are not in the millennial reign with Jesus.

@@noblejuh2043 In case you were still curious. The postmil/amil positions understand the language in Matthew 24 to be figurative judgement language. We see this in the Old Testament in Isaiah 13:9-13, 34:3-5, and Ezekiel 32:7-8. All three were in reference to judgment against a nation: Babylon, Edom, and Egypt. It's also understood that the 70 weeks in Daniel referred to the first coming of Christ in the incarnation. The middle of the 70th week was the crucifixion when Jesus became our sacrifice thus putting an end to all other sacrifice. He took our sin so put an end to sin. Nothing in Daniel 9 indicates a pause between week 69 and 70. It's continuous. How the thousand years are understood differs between postmil and amil, but both understand it figuratively. Similar to Psalm 50:10 when Yahweh says the cattle on a thousand hills belong to Him. It simply means all of them. Hope that was helpful.

@@lfkeitel if it is continuous, where is the new heaven and earth? Death still has a sting. Sin is still prevalent. What happened to the promise of eternal life with Jesus on earth?
