Thanks Bruce, the Revell Merc is a nice kit, lots of options to choose from, I'm about done with the resin body chopped Merc, it uses the amt kit, it's definitely not Revell, lol

Great looking paint job Tom, just reviewed your wet sanding tutorial, if I ever find enough patience I will have to try that. (My previous attempts usually went too deep and took off the paint), but I am using craft or aztec acrylics, don't think they are as sturdy as the lacquers.

Great build, how did that work using the wet look clear over Tamiya? Did you have to wait a certain amount of time? Might have to try it

Both are excellent clears, I can get the wet look a little cheaper than the Tamiya, decant both of them and use my airbrush with great results. I usually wait a week before wet sanding to allow it to gas out, Tom

NoCo Scale Auto Thanks Grant, I use Tamiya fine pointed cotton swaps, I get them at hobby lobby, they come in 3 sizes and the smallest size works very well to get Polish out of panel lines, hope this helps you, Tom

Hey Kev, Thanks for the kind words, as far as the aftermarket parts, distributor is 6 bucks, the braided hose for the radiator is 3 bucks for a roll that will last a while, the fittings for the braided hose get pricey, 8 bucks for 8 of them, the small detail wire is like 3 or 4 bucks for enough for several cars, hope this helps, Tom

Thanks Jamie, yeah I have been working to get this done for the show at Garlits Museum in a few weeks. I just print them out on glossy photo paper, you can find some already sized down on Pinterest, or you can search for mag covers and shrink them in Word and print them, Tom
