I love these videos. I actually can understand everything you are giving advise on, love the music and the way it gets built.

That it is! Especially in those odd places that are hard too reach. Wouldn't be modeling if it was prefect.

Not trying to be negative but do you have access to thin cement? The amount of Testors made me scream.
@PlasticModelBuilder3 жыл бұрын
I love Testors! It bonds great! Gets rid of most seam lines. Once its dry, scape it away for a total bond and no more seam.

I appreciate you doing this. I am currently building the exact model. My question to you is why don't you paint the parts especially the main body/wings of the plane prior to removing them and glueing them? I myself use spray cans and spray the entire model with primer then follow up with dark gull grey forf the top and light gull grey for underneath. If you could DM me so I can send you pics of what I did. Thanks again

Typically the seams need to be repaired on Revell models. It's easier to do before painting.

I have been following your videos for guidance as I am building the same kit and its my first. First off I want to say thank you because its helped me a ton. Secondly, I want to use this plane in a diorama. The plane will be flying away from a destroyed tank. Obviously this aircraft would not have landing gear down. Whats your recommendation on leaving them out or is there a way to have them stowed in the aircraft?
@PlasticModelBuilder5 жыл бұрын
Youll need to modify the gear. I suggest looking at reference pictures of the plane to see what it looks like with gear up. It shouldn't be to hard to do. You may want to spend a little extra money and by a thin sheet of styrene. This can be used as a glueable base to give support for the parts so they don't collapse

Fantastic work my friend. The kit seems awful mate , I've got the HobbyBoss one and can't wait build it as I saw alot of these in Iraq !! One of my favourite aircraft ! Hope your well

It had difficult areas for sure. Always a better way to do it but I haven't figured it out yet. Cheers

I built this kit too the worst revell kit so many huge seams
@TheJer19635 жыл бұрын
Did you use anything for weight up front to keep it from tilting back? There is a company that makes nose wheel weights for this kit.
@PlasticModelBuilder5 жыл бұрын
I did not. But ill start on other models since I recently worked on one that required alot of weight

@@PlasticModelBuilder Just depends how you approach them. I dont like heavy ones but some of the kit's today look too heavily done. The only reason that engraved lines are popular is because every one seems to want to put a wash into them making some look like they have been drawn on with a technical pen.

I have just watched some of your builds, at first I thought someone was doing this for a joke then I realised you are actually serious I have never seen anyone think they can build and paint a model and teach anyone as bad as you, If anyone follows what you say and do they might as well just buy the kit and put it straight into the bin. I would suggest you stop posting videos and go away and learn how to build and paint models yourself before you think anyone could learn anything from you apart from how not to build a model
