To make “glass” for the instruments, Testors “Clear Parts Cement & Window Maker”, part 3515, provides realistic looking glass. It will not harm the decals underneath. I apply with a toothpick and lay the part flat so as to use gravity in leveling.

I don't think the bright blue flocking will be a problem. After the body is assembled, the light inside the car will be minimized, and I think the flocking will be just bright enough to be seen properly. It will be an optical illusion, and will look very nice.

You could use UV resin too instead of 2-part epoxy. I've been using the 5-Second fix for guages and gluing in my clear parts for years.

hello, I am one of your subscribers (from France) and I love your work. Is it possible to buy you the 3d of the jaguar? Cordially
Are You sure of the position of the handbrake? shouldn´t left hand drived car have handbake to the left also? Google pictures, I did. Nice build btw

I could have potentially made a mistake there, yes.
@PolLight30003 жыл бұрын

Do you apply a varnish to the whole interior as well once it's all done? If so what type of varnish would be suitable for that task? Satin? Matte? Or is it simply not necessary?

The steering wheel is funny as it looks both awesome and horrible at the same time..the "wood" looks so good, however the "metal" parts flash should have been cleaned and holes should have been drilled..now it looks a bit messy..so much effort for all other details to make it look good, just to leave one part to make it look messy..contradiction.. Anyway, nice built, hats off!
@TheScalemodelingChannel3 жыл бұрын
Got it fixed. drilled the holes, removed the moldline. will be seen in the future episodes.
