Does anyone else feel like this theme beats out the final boss theme in this game?

Agreed! I don't really care for the final boss theme
@ruthmcnally3103 ай бұрын
@@cyberxshinobi5621 The final boss music does suit the more dramatic atmosphere of the fight, but yeah, it doesn't work as something to just listen to like this track does.

This song describes exactly what is like to fight a brain locked in a safe, spiderman/batman (version depending) and a ninja who likes to club way too much.

Easily the best song in the game. Back then Genesis had a headphone jack on the console. Plugged some earphones and sat there and listened for hours, while all kinds of battles were racing through my mind with this song in the background. Thinking about it, I played the music more than the game itself.

You may wonder why this tune is named "TERRIBLE BEAT" in fact it's really good. It's not the beat of this tune that terrible. But because it makes the beat of heart terrible. Yes, I always got nervous in every boss fight because of this...

Yuzo san = absolute legend. The revenge of Shinobi / Super Shinobi and Actraiser are two of my favorite ever video game soundtracks. You would think with the advancements in sound quality since then (on all audio equpiment, not just video game consoles), we would be hearing tunes to rival or better these classics, but nothing has come close since. The 16-bit era, will always the most memorable part of my video game memories.

The weaker hardware forced more innovation, that's why 8 and 16 bit games will always be better. Developers would have to force themselves back onto the old hardware to achieve the same level of creativity. =)

The soundchip inside the Super Nintendo was cutting edge tech courtesy of Sony that could emulate full orchestras, it would be hard for anyone to match that. The Genesis does what it set out to do well, which is emulate the sound of Sega Arcade machines.

well, i'm not familiar with the original meaning of "badass", only the slang one (which makes perfect sense here), but which original meaning of "terrible" do you refer to? in any case, i'm pretty sure the title was mistranslated from "Terrifying Beat" or something.
