42:23 I 100% agree with you Seth, this is one of the most best Acting Jobs that Hayden has done for three seconds. It’s such a powerful Scene for being three Seconds. Anakin was saved by his own Son Luke, who knew that their was still good in him, and not the feared dark lord of the sith that Vader was known for. And it’s like you said when Luke sees his dad for the very first time and him knowing that going to the Death Star with Vader, was the only chance he had to bring his father back from the dark side is truly remarkable.

7:42 Now here me out on this Obviously we’re getting S4 and I think that is definitely going to have Bo Katan having as the main character for that season and how she’s going to be able to rebuild Mandalore and she will get recruited by Ahsoka or Someone important from the rebels crew to help out Now for the movie. I believe someone important like Ahsoka or Bo will come to Nevarro to find Djarin and Gorgu and say “ We need your help. Theirs a threat on its way.” And In the movie they go recruit everyone that they can to fight Thrawn to set up heir to the empire movie. And I really hope they don’t touch thrawn by that show him in this movie, mentioning him is fine, but leave him for Ahsoka.

Given what you said about Star Wars news dropping and you having already pre-recorded shows do you plan to keep pre-recording or go back to filming a week at a time? I would love to see you guys do some table top gaming as I think that lends itself to being able to talk at the same time, video games require more concentration so I’m not sure how the “chatting” would go with that.

Since Bad Batch is dropping soon, we’re going back to weekly recordings. Which is a double edged sword 😅. We can be timely but also not as much prep time. But as I like to say “limitation breeds creativity!” We don’t consider ourselves a “Star Wars news show” so we aren’t worried about getting to new things in a timely manner - with the exception of new content. Because we’re fans too, obviously. For the gaming streams, that would be in addition to our usual show so we would try to make a new thing out of it. We’ve been workshopping some new types of content that we are passionate about that we can do outside of the weekly show and this is one that’s high on the list. Seth loved table top games and I love video games.

Studios will often come into a movie or show and mess with it in order to appease focus groups or what they feel will make the most money. More often than not, this total disruption of the creative process is a ripple effect on the art itself and makes it feel soulless and hollow at best or downright disjointed and bad at worst. Great examples of this is WB meddling with David Ayer’s Suicide Squad or when Joss Whedon came in and butchered Snyders Justice league. Think what you will about those directors or films, but there is no doubt that they were worse off for having the studio come in a mess with it to try to appeal to a wider fan base. For Star Wars, it’s clear to me that this “Mandalorian and Grogu” movie was not an organic writing decision by Favreau. Disney has had a rough few years at the box office and need a win. “Baby yoda” gets butts in seats so it’s a money printing machine. Mandalorian was designed as an action serial for TV, and being on the big screen is a VERY different artistic medium. I’m optimistic that that team can pull it off, but I’m not a fan of the meddling
