A resourceful Bosnian mechanic is determined to keep old Zastava cars rolling. The company gained fame in the 1980s for its only Western-marketed vehicle, the Yugo. Although shuttered in 2008, Zastava's factory in Kragujevac, Serbia, has since been bought by Fiat.

I well remember Yugos and Skodas in Canada when I was a kid. They were cheap, cheerful and very bare-bones, but many of the people who drove them loved them. It's good to see this fellow keeping these old friends going. :o)

Great to see that you keep these models alive. I had a Fiat 600 on which the Zastava 750 is based. I recognise the problem of water mixing with oil.

As a young Bosnian from Sarajevo, I remember there was a saying regarding the Yugo cars. In Bosnian, you would write it as Yugo je Sugo which translates to Yugo is smelly/dirty/filthy etc Keep up the good work but nobody wants to drive these around 😅
