Schools in many asian countries have real issues with bullying to the point of kids commiting suicide.Japan has a bad issue with this right now and teachers and administrators tend to look the other way. Kids are taught to keep quiet about problems and not cause trouble, so they commit suicide rather than report the bully and those that enable the bullies.

Again, not in Japan. In many countries, the wife can sell the spouse things if he is considered negligent and does not pay for cost of living. No one will question the wife's right to recover living expenses and domestic issues are mainly not addressed by law in countries outside the US.
