You know what a Boss TU3 can do? Back in like 2010 I lived in a little cabin on a dirt road on a mountain. One night I got home from recording around 2am, had my guitar case in my left hand and my Boss TU3 in my right hand as I walked up to my front door. It gets really dark out in the middle of nowhere, so I was way too close when I realized my door was blocked by a big ass bear going through my garbage can. Out of some kind of idiot reflex, I just yelled "get outta here!" and chucked the TU3 as hard as I could. I plunked the bear in the shoulder, and it sort of wandered away lazily. So what it lacks in functionality as a tuner, it makes up for as a bear deterrent.

Keeley Compressor, Keeley Muse Driver and ODR-1 are my 3 favs. I have so many Keeley pedals it’s ridiculous. He makes such awesome stuff it’s hard for me not to jump on his stuff. Met him once at Sweetwater’s Gear Fest and he was such a nice guy. I got to his tent before anyone else got there and my daughter and I just hung out with him for about 30 minutes. Super, super nice regular guy but he can make some pedals!

I use the TU3 as a kill switch as much as a tuner. I also have Snarks.

I tried to sell my POD Express but no one pounced on it. Then they came out with the editing software and I got a 2 button footswitch to use with it too and I'm glad I was "stuck" with it. I think I like it better than my IR-2 now but I can't actually bring myself to say it....

TC Electronic (no s) has another cool pedal. The Sentry. A very good noise gate. As for tuners: there is the Peterson Strobostomp (love that thing myself). My favorite purchases of the year didn't even make these lists: - Neunaber Immerse - Electro Harmonix Glove - Wampler Tumnus Deluxe Probably gonna look into the Nobels ODR1-X soon.

8:55 I got one of those VE-22's. It's pretty decent for the price point but I can see why it's on Reverb a lot. It could have more functionality. It basically limits you to 2 effects and a doubler/harmonizer. You can do EQ/compression too but you kind of have to dig to edit that on a different page, personally I'd like to have those as their own effects blocks too kind of like on a Headrush Core or Tonemaster Pro or Helix or whatever.

In a thousand years there will be two things still alive and kicking, cock roaches and TU3s. Mine is missing most of its paint, but it still works flawlessly. As for new pedals for me this year, the Universal Audio Max Compressor is beyond stellar IMHO. REALLY good.🤟🤟

Only picked up 2 pedals last year a Greenhouse Effects Sonic Orb Phaser, and Thorpy FX The General Fuzz/Boost and both were keepers, Thorpy Might challenge Seans Benson Germanium for all it can do, if Casino needs or wants to Demo either pedal just ask and can have them shipped out within the week. Everyone can use or recommend a Blues Driver. Tomorrow can do 5 Worst Pedals of 2024 and All time
