One of Scotland's greatest entertainers. He was, I might add, a regular church goer. I went to the same church.

Nobody does it better, as Carly Simon, would say ! New Year has never been the same without our Rikki ! I met him at the bottom of Suchiehall St. I said, oh hello ! He said, Oh hello ! Made my day. RIP beloved comedian xxx Scotland is crying without you !😰

Probably some American presbyterian's who don't get humour, or mistook this is an attack on Christianity.

Rikki actualy played a spy in the classic movie 'Gorki Park' and was a very good serious actor. He had brilliant comic timing and the 'IM Jolly' sketches parodied Scottish TV s late Call programme in which clergymen were given 5 minutes to speak to the nation. Great stuff!

The deadpan comedic delivery, coupled with the Scottish accent.

My mum will be in heaven now, laughing her head off, at our favourite comedian. When he gave us a laugh, mum went hysterical ! Then she got me laughing !!!! Comedy genius !

Friends and I met a dead ringer for the Rev in a pub, many years ago. And he WAS a minister. He had never heard of or seen these sketches.
