Hi Brent, just came across your videos. My husband and I live in RI (Bristol) and we are planning to move to Portugal in 2027 when our son completes high school and goes off to college (hoping to entice him to attend Trinity in Dublin). I was born in the Azores and have dual citizenship (as does my son) and my husband has a few more months to wait to get his Portuguese citizenship through our marriage. We have been to mainland Portugal 2x in the last two years to get a feel for Lisbon over Porto areas. We will be back over as a family in June for a few weeks and plan to rent a car and explore the sliver coast. Our most difficult decision will be picking a general location to really focus on for our move. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos.

I'm not sure where you buY groceries in portugal but when I'm there I got to the super markets and the selection is outstanding better then the states.

ROAD ILAND HERE IS A LOT OF PORTUGUESE, SO YOU WILL FIND A PIECE OF PORTUGAL HERE TOO. BRISTOL ITS A EXEMPEL E FALL RIVER CLOSER TOO FROM MASS.

Do they need to bill that much? Cost of mortgage? Food prizes (Wheat shortage: Ukraine)? Etc.? Or do you really think they spike their prizes by opportunity? What car do they drive to work: a luxus limousine? :p :)

BUT HERE EVERYTHING IS SO MUCH MONEY, THE COST 💲 WHEN I CAME HERE I WENT JUST 3 TIMES TO RESTAURANT AND I WAS IN SHOCK THE COST OF THE FOOD AND THEN YOU PAY THE TIP SO HIGHT TO. SO BAD, IN PORTUGAL EVERYONE CAN GO TO A RESTAURANT SO AFFORDABLE TO EVERYONE, EVEN THE MORE IN COST 💲 IS BETTER THAN USA. I FELT LIKE HERE IS A BIG SEPARATION BETWEEN THE REACH AND THE MIDDLE CLASS AND LOWER CLASS. I DONT SEE THAT IN EUROPE, MORE LESS IN PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 SPAIN 🇪🇸 ITALY, GREECE 🇬🇷 AND EVEN IN THE OTHER COUNTRIES THAT ITS IS A LITTLE MORE THAN THOSE COUNTRIES THAT I POINTED. ITS SO SAD SEE THIS BIG DIFFERENCE HERE, AND THE TAXES SO HIGHT ALSO THE HEALTH CARE TOO, ITS AMAZING COUNTRY USA 🇺🇸 AND PEOPLE ARE ALLS SEE AS POSITIVE AND HAPPY, AND ADMIRE BY EUROPEANS. WE ARE BROTHERS DEFINITELY HELPING EACH OTHER IN HISTORY. BUT IF PEOPLE PAY SO MUCH TAXES HERE WHY ARE NOT THEM ENJOY COST OF LIEVING BETTER, AND WHY TO GET OLDER HERE ITS NOT AFFORDABLE TO MOST OF PEOPLE, AT THE POINT TO SELL THEIR HOUSES TO PAY THE HEALTH COST… NOT SAYING THIS IN A BAD WAY BUT SINCE I CAME LIVE HERE I SAW HOW HARD IT IS ALSO TO BY A HOUSE AND TAXES SO HIGHT.
