Modifying an abandoned project to be very similar to this design. Main chamber is roughly 48x19x24 rectangular box, that much I could salvage and have to reduce the firebox they had because it was almost double the size it should be. Have plenty of 3/16 on the way to put the vertical box above the firebox. These boys are HEAVY

i would like to see you make a video building a reverse flow smoker out of a water heater tank
@madjeepernh68346 жыл бұрын
Hey great work man. The only problem with flat top smokers is that the condensation builds up on the inside of the cover and drips sooty water on the food. Do you install a rounded shield inside to cover?
@richardschaffling98826 жыл бұрын
Looks great but why did you switch from a mig to a stick welder thanks
@adrianh72316 жыл бұрын

This is reverse flow to the Smoker and the Vertical box is being used as a heater, correct? I suppose if you really wanted, you could open up the vertical box damper, close the smoker box, and use both boxes for a smoker? Is it possible to have this sort of option to use vertical as either a smoker or as a warmer?

You used a mig for almost the entire video, and then only at the end using a tig to seal the inside. Is there a reason for this?

Wasn't tig, must have just looked like it
