The muscle memory with the torch cuts is second to none!

These videos are so great to watch. Allen is a real craftsman. He's got some real flair in the editing department too. Don't you love the sped up videos? Also, I'm so jealous of his cutting torch skills. I've used a torch in the past, but I spent more time grinding it straight than cutting. Keep up the great work.

First off man sweet build and quality work.Not trying to step on ones toes but if you have a worm drive skill saw toss a carbide metal cutting blade on it ( I get mine at harbor freight they work good if you don’t try to go to fast into a cut)save you a lot time of grinding and torching. Props on the torch skills tho.I know I wish someone would of gave me the tip a long time ago crazy how much time it saves working with plate when you don’t have a shear.

Allen, Love your work brother! You do awesome metal working with your torch and GMAW gun. Would like to see more of your work on FaceBook or a webpage if you get one set up. You have so much footage of the making of these things I imagine you could set up a whole website with pics and prices for us to shop from and order one. BTW, who do you use for shipping your BBQ’s/Smokers to other states?
@davidcraft49093 жыл бұрын
oh, wow. I watched some of your other videos on smaller pits built with plate. and I was thinking you were only making small pits out of sheets of steel. anyway nice video.

Hi Allen, thanks for posting all the great content. Is using a hexagonal shape for the cooker as opposed to a cylindrical shape better for bbq performance or is it simply style/build preference?

Allen, LOVE all the videos and the skill you have is just amazing!!!!! i have a question though. Are all the smokers you build already sold so you can buy more supplies and make a living? Also would it be better to have a shop to do all your work in instead of outdoors where the weather can be not so good.

Hi Allen. Another great video from you, but wanted to see if I could help you out with your camera issues. Try doing a full fat32 format on your card. It will segregate any bad sectors in your card which is probably what’s causing your corrupted files. Keep up the amazing work sir!

Hi Allen, have you ever thought about getting a plasma cutter, you are a wizard with a torch, but a plasma gives you a cleaner cut, with much less warping on thin plate, plus no need for oxygen or acetylene, just a thought. Great work as always, hope you get the new camera figured out, maybe it not the camera but the card reader that’s the problem ?

If I could cut as straight and clean as you, I'd have no desire for a plasma cutter. Lol I guess it's the benefit of experience and repetition.
@arjaya6 жыл бұрын
Grandadz Forge I thought the same thing. Skill to cut as straight as that. Didn't even grind it with a straight edge attached.
