3:48 very technical move, using the leg to generate momentum to move the opponents body when already locked in place. very smart.

My brother is in Miami, FL so that would be a good place to go if nearby. I'm due to visit there soon 👍

this looks way easier to pull off than a regular flower sweep

If you get the wrist trapped, then it works really well, and you will have a strong lounge position

Isn't that the wrong grip for the reverse kimura? Your gripping hand (left hand in this case) should be palm up. That is the way I have always done it. That way you do uppercut motion to put the kimura lock on. You get more movement with palm up.

If you were using the reverse Kimura to submit, then I would agree that the upward facing palm is better. In this case though, I'm using it to control and ultimately sweep. You also notice I'm using one hand to control the grip, so upward Palm would be an easy escape as he could just rip up. With a downward Palm, his wrist is trapped between my hand and my hips, so I get to use the free hand to hit the flower sweep.

Using that leg to swing is almost like a pendulum 🤔
