@sneakeey17 жыл бұрын
It is and it is easy to control your desired doneness because you monitor the temp during the indirect portion. The searing only take a few minutes. It can be done with an over and a skillet as well. Here is a video using that technique: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKu6gqGbpt2Jb8U

Hey Phil, this is Phil. Funny thing I saw David there with you and a new Redhead Limited Edition Kettle and went WOW. The wife was walkin thru the room and I go look at this, David is at Phil's house doing a cold grate reverse sear Rib-eye. About that time you gave me a shout out which caught me totally by surprise. That was a terrific looking steak. I am a believer now in the science of that technique and process. If anyone follows this process, your steaks will turn out the same way every time. Nice job by you and David from Adrenaline Barbecue on two beautiful Rib-eyes. Thanks again for the "Shoutout Shoutout" and I love Christy and that other little channel. What was the name again? BABYBACK MANIAC. I've heard of him. LOL
