Do you have any close in pics of your bike frame/trike frame connections? It would really help me in my planning. Thanks, and congratulations. You should be proud!

Stephen great job! I do look forward to seeing more on your trike. What size bike did you use, front suspension and steering also? I have been looking at doing one for a while. I am trying to figure out to make mine a 3 seater I have 2 kids! lol good luck and thanks, =)

I used a GSX600F motorcycle. Its a 600cc; it has enough to get up and go but might upgrade later to something more. The front suspension is from helix. Its a mustang II kit for a chevy nova that I converted to this. Mine ran me $1200 and for a first timer didn't have too much trouble figuring it out. Its really stiff but it keeps the trike from leaning out on turns. Linked it below! www.helixsuspension.com/products/ifs-kits/ The Steering is just 3/4in steel tubing that I welded elbows and a piece to make it connect to the rack and pinion. And it rotates in heim joints. Thanks and hope to see yours sometime!

what did you do for the front suspension and steering, also how much did this whole thing cost

I used a Helix Mustang II front suspension kit. The steering wheel to the front suspension was just a piece of 3/4in rod with a few univeral joints in them. Large hine joints welded to the frame from held the 3/4in rod. The whole trike cost slightly past $10,000. Those parts add up

Thanks! I'm currently designing #2... but this one will have a screen, light weight materials, and four wheels. Still might leave off the doors though haha

Good job man, i am very shocked that you spent nearly 10k on it.. i helped a friend here in Florida on building a Locost 7 and his final cost was right around 7k using miata donor car for engine and other parts..
