Ya know Mark, I absolutely adore you and watching your videos, you are 100% an inspiration to me, & I truly mean that, every time I sit here and watch one of your very lovely videos, it leaves me thinking that I too could not only create well attempt to create a piece that are as stunning as yours, but also maybe even I could start me a KZbin channel. I just don't think I'm brave enough to put myself (& my face & life) out there, but then I watch one of your videos and anyone watching any of your videos can clearly see your courageousness and your spirit & how infectious your passion is for this art form is. I pray you never lose your spirit or creative flow, & continue to put out videos for all of us to enjoy, & I just hope one day I'll too be brave enough to maybe start my own KZbin channel & be one of the greats like you. Take care & have a blessed day/week/month/ & year. From all the way (or near) Houston, Texas in the United States. 🙋🏻♀️🤗 Nicole Belanger-Richardson

Hey Nicole… WOW?!! What can I say? Thank you so so much for your kind words and feedback. This has made my day reading this and you’ve made me smile. It’s so great as an artist to receive this kind of feedback - thank you. And YES!!! Go for it!! Start your channel. Start videoing your creations, get used to speaking aloud when creating. You kind of soon forget about the camera and I don’t think too much about what to say as you can always edit and voice over if necessary. The main thing is to have FUN and not put too much pressure on yourself. It’s all about inspiration for yourself and sharing what you learn and create with others. That’s what i love. I love to hear what people see in each piece and I love to connect with people all around the world - this has opened up a new world creatively and I think you’ll enjoy it once you start. Good luck and thank you again so much for your wishes and feedback x

Mark - This is my first trip to your page, and I’m impressed! I know exactly how your spacing out feels because I had a Thalamic Stroke that sidelined me and my art - and caused me to take a new direction! I still lose my way. By the way, I adore Olga Soby and her great variety of techniques! She’s a real inspiration! And before I forget, what you’ve done with these colors, this vision, this painting - is gorgeous! Your block? What block!? It’s gone! This stunning piece is a reminder that the art within us will display itself - sometimes on a 30 x 40 canvas!

@@MarkJRatcliffeArt I did a reverse Dutch pour this afternoon, a 16"x20". Used similar colors and am very pleased with the way it turned out -- even though it's a little different than yours. I'm wondering if I need a different type of hairdryer. If I put it on regular, it doesn't have much umph; if I turned it up, it blows everything off the table but it gets the job done but I don't have any control over it.
