Blues & Greens Dutch Pour Acrylic Fluid Art (LARGE Canvas) Acrylic Fluid Art

Hey Everyone! Thank you for being here today. I’m so happy you are here with me today to see what I created. If you are new to my channel, I’m so happy you have found me and I hope you enjoy what you see. It’s great to have you here. If you are a returning creative friend - thank you so much for your unending support; it really does mean a lot.
Today’s piece is inspired by: Blues and Greens. This is a commission piece and it was requested by a client who wanted to match a design with a glass bowl they have in their kitchen.
Technique used: dutch pour; consistency using the blow dryer to create depth to the piece.
What I learnt: ensure you blow off the paint so there are not any inconsistent puddles; if there are inconsistent puddles this will potentially crack at the paint will dry and uneven speeds. Think about what direction you are blowing so you know what paint will mix with what tone.
Colour palette: Emerald Green, Crome Green Hue, Olive Green Deep, Iridescent Green Blue, Brilliant Green, Green Turquoise, Deep Turquoise, Kings Blue, Prussian Blue Hue, Paynes Grey, Light Blue.

Canvas: I use canvases from Loxley Arts: either the Gold or Ashgate brands.
Pouring Medium: I use a ready mixed pouring medium here in the UK and this was made and produced by a fellow fluid artist. You can get that from her here: madebymelovedb...
Hair/Blow Dryer: I currently use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting unless I specify otherwise.

This on reminds me of the northern lights. I think a little light red and pale yellowin the blue and greens would be very cool. More like the northern lights. This already makes me think of the northern lights as is.beautiful. Thank you Mark Have a great day

Mark, it’s just beautiful. I am partial to green. It was a really large canvas and You tackled it like a pro! I was wondering how you were going to handle it and as usual, you aced it. I’m glad that your clients liked it. I am also partial to the metallics, especially black, gold, bronze, cooper, silver and rose gold with pearl white. I will attempt it some day when I get better at this technique.

It's amazing and just the right amount of blues and green ( sometimes blue can take over) would like to see a brown, pink gold and a touch of white on a soft grey base, it's something I am thinking of doing but I would like to see what you could do with the colours even if it was only a little canvas xxx

Lovely little instructional video, I may have missed it but I didn't hear what ratio of acrylic paint to water you are using to make it fluid. I know you can get fluid paint but it's cheaper to do it this way even though stirring can make bubbles. I like bubbles! :) Also, it looked as if you were actually touching the paint with your hairdryer flat end bit is that right? Is that ok to do with electric? Great outcome and interesting watch. Hey! Thank you so much! Your kind comments and support are very much appreciated. I can assure you my hair dryer does not touch the paint or the canvas; I blow close but it never touches. Honest. I did a special video on how I mix my paints depending on what technique I do. Not sure if you’ve seen that yet on my channel.
