I had to make row adjustments so it would fold correctly for me...at row 21, I crocheted an additional 4 SC rows and began the color change. It turned out fabulous. I used Caron Simply Soft in White and Red so I could wear it during the Winter Holidays for a festive look! This is the BEST reversible beanie tutorial out here in YT land! 👍

i love this beanie. I just found your channel and was looking for a double layered beanie that I can make for my hubby. He is kinda sparse on the head of hair lol and I don't like doing liners. I look forward to trying this today. Thank you again.

I've already made 2 of these stunning beanies but I always have a problem with twisting so rather than sc into the circle I did it into the chains and then slip stitched together ❤ works wonders, thanks so much for your tutorial ♥ my friends love it and wear with pride and joy. XOXO from Kaikohe NZ ☺☺☺

Hi thankyou for this beautiful pattern tutorial, may I ask, on row 1, is it okay to sc to every chain rather than into the circle because i kept having trouble on the twisted chains ?

Hi, great hat idea. Thanks for the tutorial. Would you be able to talk about yarn you use (& yardage needed) and hook size @ beginning of video? that's what Wilma does and it's helpful. Thanks so much.

Thank you so much! I will see what I can do. You can find all info, including hook size and yardage, on this page: www.crochething.com/2side-beanie/

Which yarn type and size have you used?

Love this Alice. I'm not quite sure what a UK equivalent is to 3.5 weight yarn. If I were to use DK would I use the same hook size and start with the same chain length? Thanks.

How many extra chains to make this hat a little bigger and can I use DK and 5mm hook thank you
@Crochething4 жыл бұрын
You need 12 extra chains to make it 1 puff section bigger. I would try the thinner yarn and hook and 12 extra chains and after row 1 try it on your head if it fits. Then you can decide if you need to make a 2nd 12 more chains or not. Please let me know and much joy working on it 🤗

It's very difficult to keep in untwisted! I've been crocheting for years and I think I give up this one.
