youtube videos of conventions are how i found the fandom, and after years in it i still can't get over how they're basically entirely footage of fursuits, not actual people doing anything. Only in the rare instance of an interviewee or non-fursuit dance competition. Fursuits are cool, but end up feeling impersonal by sheer number and their limited cabability. They rarely talk, can barely move or see.
