Glad u finally reviewed my car. Some people don't like the styling but the performance, feel and sound are all without a doubt great. They aren't too expensive either. My only complain would be the stiffness of the ride when driving on bumpy roads. I wish u change adjust the suspension and have it soft when driving around town. The stiffness is great for the open road though. You should have let us hear some exhaust pops.

My wife's car is a '10 Cooper S Hardtop. Sport, Premium, & Cold wthr packages. It's a good balance of comfort & sport...6-speed auto with Steptronic paddles isn't bad,,,the wife has no patience for manual. :).

I think that Mini's are so cool cars! I fit perfectly in a Cooper One D once of a friend of mine, it was a Diesel model, all modded and his stereo does sound like a fuckin' disco/club fully loaded with speakers and subwo included, He called it "Dani's TunzTunz" which Tunz stands for "bass boosted/kick" I'M IN LOVE WITH MINIS And I almost got one a lot of time ago but it wasn't reasonably priced.

good to finally see this review, I have an 07 S. where were you driving it? I'm in south FL and the roads around here suck. they looked decent where ever you were. my brakes don't have much feel, but are very sensitive and strong. you didn't mention being able to change the interior light's color which is a really unique feature.

I've been wanting to take a Cooper out for a spin. I've never liked the look of the seats but everything else makes up for it. I'd definitely get the nav; like how it retains the speedometer but makes it less noticeable. Great review man.

a Subaru-related resource talking about a Mini? ok ... these are nice cars indeed and as far as i know, discontinued already ... (yes, i'm too late on commenting here ...) but the gas/mileage of this model is pretty much similar to a number of small SUVs such as the Subaru Crosstrek XV, which are bigger and can carry more cargo and people in the back are also more comfortable when riding in it ... so, unless you're for a smaller car and fancier looks of the Mini, i don't see why one should go for something like this really?

Veyronp87 Drive one it’s the only way you’re going to find out if it gives you what you are looking for. You’re going to hear about the ride quality from people all over the World. It’s not the fault of any of the MINIS, it’s primarily the condition of the poorly repaired/maintained roads. On motor ways, A class roads, highways, freeways they’re as compliant as any other car. On the twisties, bends they come into their own. Very little understeer & manageable oversteer from the back end. Go karts is a very apt way of describing MINIS. I’m on number seven (kept number six for weekends), never ever had any problems. Just a tyre & a battery change. I hope you drove one, they’re enormous fun & when serviced & maintained by a competent mechanic they’ll give you many miles of satisfaction.

As an ford fiesta st 2006 and mcs 2011 owner, i have to say that the mcs has in no way a stiff feel in driving. It is a soft commuting car vs an st which is a true mini gti. When i heard ''stiff'' i lol... // i have to say though, that for in town drivig mcs is better than my st for sure..
