Just drove it from Sydney to Melbourne last week and the readout was 5.8 litres per 100. Doesn't seem correct so will check again on the trip back. Filled up in Sydney and filled up again in Wangaratta. Fuel range read there was still 70 Kay's to empty before filling up.

@@misterhamez In my GT Hatch, I have gotten 8l/100km which I am actually quite pleased with. Considering I have driven it around suburban area's and recently gone for a big hilly drive doing 2.5x the speed limit. I have been driving it quickly and using 98. After all, it is a car that wants to be driven quick. I am sure with a good, economical drive it could get at least 7l/100km. Could be a tad bit better but actually surprised me as I was expecting 9's with my driving.
@belvederedog30155 жыл бұрын
@S G Drove it back from Melbourne and got 5.7. There was a small amount of city driving but mainly open highway. Got to 800 kays before filling up. Fuel readout said still 60 kays to empty so that was quite outstanding for a smallish fuel tank. Filled up and drove on the highway and was got 5.1 for exactly 100 kays travelled. Quite impressive

I don't like the idea of having the indicators and reverse light on the rear bumper... Just witnessed one getting a bumper fender at low speed, while the bumper seems okay with no dent nor did it dislodged, the signal indicators went bonkers... I wouldn't wanna ask the driver if the reverse sensors are even functioning now... Bumpers are meant to bump for slow speed, and if one could cause such an inconvenience, it's a no no...

@S G Hi, I am in Australia. As far as I am aware they don't come as standard. I paid extra for the mats in mine. But atleast they are really nice mats.
@jay-uo2bi5 жыл бұрын
@S G $168 all up for the floor mats. DCT is perfect for aslong as I have had it. I know there was some problems in the early Veloster and Tucson but recently they have seemed to improve. The i30 which has been out for a while has had a floor less record with its DCT.
@belvederedog30155 жыл бұрын
@S G I believe they are an extra cost although I did not pay for mine. I have never paid for mats in any of my cars as I always say it is a "gift with purchase" No dealer will ever charge you for mats if it means losing a sale. Insist on them being part of the purchase deal

1:35 It's a map pocket. Would you expect the driver to be a contortionist to reach into the map pocket behind their own seat? 2:58 It can be made much hotter with the addition of a proper tuned exhaust, circa $400 from a decent exhaust specialist (this is what my son did with his Elantra SR and it netted him a 10% improvement at the wheels based on a dyno test). 3:24 The noise doesn't come through the speakers; it comes from the climate air intake sill above the engine bay. Takes about 10 minutes for a novice (or 2 minutes for someone with tools) to permanently disable - kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGawkn-XeNuiZrs 5:08 "No manual?" The DCT _is_ manual, just not as you might know it (no, it's _not_ simply a controllable automatic transmission like you might've played with in the past). Spend a week with it and you'll never want to go back to a "normal" manual again. 5:21 The sedan is certainly better-looking and its improved boot space is great; would be perfect if not for the fact that the opening is so tight - what use is having a big boot if you can't get things into it (just ask Commodore drivers of their dilemma). Kia should've just stuck with the sedan shape and cut the rear window into a large hatch for the hatchback (like Mazda did with the Mazda 6 hatch of a few years ago), rather than cutting the bum off for the hatchback version (but this, alas, appears to be the design trend these days).
