Issue with everything surrounding the ABs at the moment is that we are expecting Razor to dominate international rugby. Arrogance has brought this onto us ABs fans. People wanted Razor, guess what we have pretty much the same team that was run by Foz. People wanted Ardie as the captain, well he was captain and lost us our first match under Razor. Razor just needs to do a decent team cleanse that puts more competition into each position. The “has beens” keep getting the opportunity over new and exciting players in NZ. Oh well, onto the next.

There's so much good to say about this game yet instead there's 8mins rant about taking penalties. Both teams take penalties(and all teams with smart captain) at score breakpoints, not just randomly taking them all the time. Watching this immediately after the Aus/SA game and both teams were so much better. No scrum until 62 minutes(bad for NZ), but that's a massive reflection on the amazing ball control from both teams, there wasn't that many knock on advantages they went past either. Great for the future of rugby, i hoped Aus could put up a similar effort to SA.

Decision making for the ABs were bit concerning. They usually very good at that when its a tight game. The 9 and 10 did not control their game at all. Very unlike the ABs to playthis way. Hopefully we see a better performamce next week

To be fair to Razor, Ab's have a lot of issues at the moment. I think Foster and co got the 2023 Ab's side to a decent level and then 7 world class players gone! If Razor was to build from having those 7 players then he would have been fine. But the reality is that he has to build a new team with a lot of experience gone! To name a few Mounga, Sam Whitelock, Brodie Retallick, Dane Coles, Shannon Frizell, Aaron Smith, Sam Cane. These are players with a lot of experience and class. Dmac had a very poor game! Ab's need a consistent no 10! The attack is again very lateral and going no where. Still searching for 12 and 13 combo! Cant clear the line properly! No go forward! List goes on and on.......

How on earth was the Blackadder tackle not a red card, let alone that it wasn’t even a penalty. Sounded like Angus was the only official who didn’t want to see or acknowledge what really happened.

Thats the correct call its an "absorbing" tackle. Backadder was standing his ground and rammed into.

McKenzie line kicking game is average. He cracks under test match pressure. The backs were very average. The mistake rate was way too high. We need changes and now.Perenara is very average. His passing is too slow. His box kicking is terrible. Harry Plummer needs to start for the All Blacks.Harry’s fundamental skills are better than McKenzie. Backline changes : Ratima,Plummer,ALB,Proctor,Clarke,Jordan,B Barrett. Our line out still needs more work.Hookers need to get throw ins 100% right. Don’t over complicate line out moves.Stick to KISS principle.Keep it simple stupid!! Secondly, lose the ego's, starting with the coach. Get a freakin haircut, just like TJ, get a haircut!!!. Next, have a freakin game plan, have some structure.... which means, Beauden at 1st five! Slackbladder can fark off, Cane at seven, papalii at 6. Newall is a bench warmer at best. Where the dark was Tamaiti... ABs looked lost - and this is close to their best squad probably! Reminiscent of some past SA teams, plenty of quality but somehow disjointed. A few players had stinkers but really it looks like a coaching problem. Kiwis have read too much into Robertson’s success at the Crusaders - wish we’d gone with the international experience of Joseph/Brown or Rennie.

Nz supporter here. It was an abysmal showing. The lack of experience amongst the coaching staff is becoming very evident, not a single coach has international test level coaching experience except for Scott Hansen who was an assistant coach for Canada and Japan (hardly a positive resume). All blacks look like they have nothing to play for, are slow, unfit and lack any energy or dominance in the forwards. They play too flat to the line and are static while trying to move the ball wide. Easy pickings for any sort of defence that looks to push forward onto the ball carrier. We looked like we waited for the ball to come to us on defence as well which allowed Argentina to get constant gain line and prevented us from being able to jackal. High ball exit strategy looks extremely flawed too. None of the players are gelling well and seem disconnected and there is no clear game plan apart from “get the ball wide and see what happens” What an embarrassment.

Some players had very poor games; TJ's service was slow and his kicking very average, JB has really dropped off in form of late and our midfield is extremely clunky, Reece on the wing was poor, and Ardie and the rest of the loosies were totally outplayed. Some major selection decisions for Razor to make for the next game. Our tight five while not perfect, are probably the only shining light right now.
