Yeah, this is how i felt about Tell Me Your Story. Most cozy gamers i know are adults and recently alot of cozy games seem to be backsliding into things meant for a far younger audience. There's nothing wrong with that but it means these games need to know their target audience better when designing puzzles...

The thing is, I get keeping things simple and low-key. That's fine. But outside of the puzzle there's just nothing really at all worthwhile to the steps. The worst is actually the sunlight stage, where it changes which two buttons you use. Oooh, A and X this time, that's CRAZY! Just I'm sure it can be tough to come up with something that isn't too taxing but can be different each time for variety, but this just feels like they threw their hands up without even really trying.

@NindieSpotlight I felt that way as I kept playing Tell Me a Story. The only puzzles that stumped me were either poorly explained or had weird slippery controls. Aside from that it feels like it's using the bones of a mobile game but with a cute art style slapped on top. I think they'd be better off just making a "dollhouse" game like Cozy Grove or Roots of Pacha
