Could you please explain how to you change the parcel locker lock (the lock where the customer key goes in, not the USPS installed lock). Maybe a video? I purchased a used parcel locker with just one parcel door (no regular mailboxes). No USPS lock installed yet. It had a private lock for the bottom portion where the USPS lock would go. I removed the private lock in preparation for having USPS install their lock, and then I realized the top "customer" lock is broken. I'm trying to figure out how to install a new Salsbury lock for the top/customer lock. The lock that's on it is a Salsbury model 3376, but I also saw another lock model 3776 online - don't know if the 3776 will fit my box. Lots of videos online about changing the regular door locks, but nothing online about how to change the parcel locker lock. Would appreciate any advice you can provide. Thank you!

For anyone here wondering as this was my first time ever utilizing a cluster mailbox: At 1:08 the first lock on parcel box 2P--YES, The key that the postmaster leaves in your mailbox to allow you to retrieve your package from the parcel box *IS SUPPOSED TO GET STUCK IN THE LOCK*!! If this happens to you like it did to me, don't freak out and think you did something wrong (also like I did lol) the lock has a security mechanism that was designed to purposely make the key get stuck--when the delivery man/women come the next day to deliver new mail, they will put in the other key in the lock below and the stuck key will then be released. In this video, there is a sticker around the top lock that advises this--mine does not have that and so I looked odd when I inserted the key and got it stuck and then came back with WD40 lol. KZbin needs a short clip video showing people that that's normal because I was freaking out for about 2 hours. Anyhow, this is a good video to follow up on and I like that you showed the inside layout to know how the cluster units work but also to know how safe they are. Thank you.

What kind of tools do you need to open the cover of the parcel locker. Thank you!

The cover plates you can take off if its brand new easily with just your hands. If the Arrow lock is installed by the post office and their screws are in the cover plates it is very difficult to get the cover plates off since the post office has special locking nuts they use.

I run my HOA. The 1P key is busted off in the open position. The mail person doesn't reset it re lock that door. People still get packages in there by using their fingers. They key fob with busted key is in their mailbox. I cant pull out the trapped busted off key. How do I proceed?

Go into the post office and ask to talk to the supervisor or post master and see if they can repair it. If they say no speak to a local locksmith and they should be able to replace the lock with a new one with three keys and move the fob over from the old broken key. Where are you located?

What happens if multiple packages are delivered tho? This seems weird to only have 2 or so parcel boxes if everyone in the units/homes are getting Amazon deliveries or such. Do they put multiple peoples packages in one box? And what happens if the next day that same package hasn’t been claimed, like if they’re out of town? I’m so confused. I’m renting a house rn with a cluster box and I order online a lot so I’m confused on how this works..

Did you watch the video? It’s only for USPS packages. When they are full they should deliver to your door. No they do not put multiple peoples packages In the parcel locker that would defeat the purpose of it being secure.

Terrible design. The parcel key is impossible to turn. Key bent while trying to turn and still didn't open. Garbage design

USPS owns the patents to this design so I would contact your local post office to see what happened with your parcel.

@@lockingmailboxinstallers1276 I had to tap the the key with a hammer while turning the key with a vice like someone recommended. The cold weather probably seized some pins.

How do you open parcel box without key ? They gave me a key they won’t go in the key hole and my package will be stuck until after the holiday weekend

Try using it in every parcel box. It’s likely one of the other parcel boxes on another mailbox if there’s more than one. You can call me if you want my numbers on our website.

@@lockingmailboxinstallers1276 but my parcel is only in one of them , no good in trying all of the others (which I did anyway- didn’t work ) UPDATE What did work was leaving a note for mail person inside my regular mail S well as a “ broken “ sign on parcel. box . They then switched my parcel to another Box And I got a different key that worked. Thanks for your willingness to help
