This is nice but I prefer the two in one Anker 733 Power Bank with Wall Plug it gives you 65W Fast Charging two USB C Ports and one USB A Port. It's also small enough to fit in my Pocket I take it to Work with me all the time. I lost the first one at Work but Anker had a Sale going on for Presidents Day for only $68.00 Dollars originally $100.00 so I just grabbed another one while it was On Sale and I just checked and it's still On Sale on Amazon but probably not for much longer.

What kind of "review" was this, you hardly did any tests on it and different scenarios. You also didn't show the app for those interested in it.

Anger have confirmed to me when I asked them, that if a slow charge occurs on recharging the powerbank it can cause damage to the battery. I always use a fast charger to avoid this issue, any fast charger above 100 watts will suffice. I recharge mine at 127 watts.

Let me just say this.. THEY ARE AWESOME! The companion app is brilliant, it isn't cheap but in my opinion worth every cent, well done!!

I bought one of these mainly to power devices (such as a webcam) rather than to charge devices. It CLAIMS to have a feature to disable the 'feature' that turns power off when the current drawn falls below a threshold. This does elongate the time to an hour or so, but it still eventually cuts the power when there is plenty left in the bank. My webcam is quite aggressive in saving power itself, so it gets switched off by Anker when on standby not actively transmitting video. Why do power banks even do this? The power consumed by the control circuitry must be pretty low, particularly for such a large capacity.

Luke, I can’t wait for your channel to really take off. So much potential in there!

mAh and Wh are two different things. 100 Wh is the limit each battery can have on a plane. The mAh capacity doesn't matter as long as the battery doesn't exceed 100 Wh.

I recommend watching Afrotechmods’ video “Battery amp-hour, watt-hour and C rating tutorial” on why mAh and Ah are very misleading capacity metrics. If you don’t want to watch the whole video, start at about 3:45. It shows two batteries of equal mAh that clearly look different from each other and explains the better use case of Wh.

Don't get the app. It's basically permission to scrape your data. And that data scrape is deep. Offers no serious real world functionality.

@@RaikaSTi collect the data of the person using the app (email address, name, physical address, phone number--the stuff needed to set up the app.) That info is bundled with that of other users for use in marketing, and there's nothing to stop it from being resold to third parties that see commercial value in that data. Further, there's no way for the user to monitor what other information is being gathered or tracked by the app and being communicated to the company. Even if the company isn't sharing the info, as we've seen with the AT&T data breach, there's no real incentive for your information to be protected, and no serious recourse when it isn't. (Frankly I'm surprised you ask: does any of this seem like a new or unique danger to you?)
