if it raining even if it’s pouring rain you’ll be just fine but if you go into water like a river etc whatever reason you need too than it will get wet, so somewhat for most scenarios going into water , rivers etc isn’t a high possibility, so I’d would say it’s 70-75% water proof, I own one , this exact Gorka 4 ordered from these guys, so I can confirm everything I just wrote, I’m Russian & have a uncle in Russian Speciall Forces Spetsnaz G.R.U who has wore Gorkas, & he says this is the exact if not almost identical too the real one he has wore, he’s still in service, I believe these is a 100% AUTHENTIC Gorka, which is very hard too find and A LOT of fakes & Kock odds on the market & for the Russian Cold Camo is selling their Gorkas & other we all should be appreciative & thankful bc they can be selling these at such a higher price. Question about the trousers. How high are these to be worn? They seem to be very high on me and without the braces (suspenders) the groin area would hang too low restricting movement. I think that my trousers are too big but the jacket is perfect. Before I get rid of this, can anyone tell me for sure where the trousers should sit? Thanks

I stil have my Gorka 4 and i had it for many years and its stil in the same condition stil warm and confterbule.but i would like to have the bBlack Gorka 1 or newer ..and i live in sweden where the vinter can get very cold but this uniform you dont feal any cold its like its made for our cold vinter ...to bad our own M90 uniform is from the same material then we would not feal so cold in them...of course you put some extra clothes under but not to compare whit the Gorka where you almost can use only a Tshirt under.....I use to be a uniform collector i stil have many left most from French foreign legion i have the new British uniform but i wish i never sold my DPM uniform the British old uniform i like that uniform so much so maybe i buy that uniform again....i have a Russian vinter uniform a white. well and many more even a complett M59 our Green old system of uniform but its nice in a way to have everything in that collection from helmer to well every thing....i have a lot of back pack i have cantines to much to write here then i would make a comment long as a book..L.O.L....But my Gorka stays whit me and our cold vinter...Sorry for bad gramma and speling...:)
