Julian Cuevas Russians use their own counter parts of certain western optics and gadgets, never once have I seen someone use a t1, All in all if I were him I would have just used a picture as a reference and stuck to it. The Russians don't never used a green and tan defender 2 nor do they have a full green Smersh. And to top it off, only the naval infantry use black and white telnyashkas

Just found links with some russian-made optics that actively used in the russian military. www.rusarmy.com/forum/threads/voennaja-optika-pricely-pnv-teplovizory-lcu-fonari-i-pr.7006/ topwar.ru/43475-sovremennye-rossiyskie-pricely-dlya-strelkovogo-oruzhiya.html . Even if you don't know russian, you will clearly see from the pictures that the optics are all russian.

Honest Question - I'm not an airsofter / airsoft player, but here I am. How much of this is... respect/authenticity vs testing equipment. In shooting sports we have _gamer gear._ You wouldn't want to wear that blast shield if you wanted to win in a competitive match. Obviously. This probably came up for me because of the gorka gear. I'm a gear guy, and also a historian/politics/etc fan. I'm sure many of you are just like me. My career isn't in the military -- I love shootings sports, good equipment, and when I go backpacking I know when I'm not having fun _(Some of you know exactly what I mean)._ I can't afford 25,000 dollar sheep hunts, but I appreciate when a brand comes along like KUIU to provide us with better gear, and I really appreciate the difference it makes.

What material is the Gorka and what would you recommend fo summer
@TheTyrial868 жыл бұрын
Galaxy Airsoft The Gorka is made of a windproof canvas. It isn't a really heavy canvas but one that cancels our wind. If you are worried about airflow get the gorka 3. This version has buttons up the front of the jacket. It is a good suit for all year around to be honest. I would suggest to buy from Grey Shop and buy the real thing. They are very versatile. If you are big Get the BARS it comes in a larger size, the other kind is SSO. Both are high quality.

@ReplaySportsAirsoft8 жыл бұрын
Hey man, it's Alex. I'm glad you're interested in getting your own Russian kit! Most of my kit was purchased through eBay, so I imagine that'll be the best bet for you too. Any of the small stuff, like gloves and boots, can be found on most airsoft websites (if you want everything to be 100 percent legit, you'll need to keep checking online). Most equipment, both reproduction and authentic, can be found online-- just takes some time to find exactly what you want. If you're really invested in the kit, I'd say it'll definitely be worth the hunt. It is very satisfying to get the last piece of gear in the mail and finally try it on!

Yea, armor of any kind is not that bad cause you wear it on your shoulders and hips, if you are wearing it correctly. When talking about any helmets, even modern Mich and ACH, soldiers get neck problems all the time due to the weight of wearing that on your head all the time.

Turkey's special forces uses modern day Nato gear (virtually the same Multicam kit that you'll see Western sf with). As for their standard military, they use regular bdu's and older Mich helmets. And interestingly enough, they're equipped with both American M4s and Russian PKMs.

@СергейБильмандо4 жыл бұрын
@Jimmy Stevens yeah alright, you make the point. But i'd not call what's on video close to real life. For example his bulletproof vest Fort... It's of weird color i've never seen in real life. And it's a weird type. They're black by default usually, i can't tell if someone actually painted them in that exact color, maybe a bit lighter or that's just the way it shines on the light... And NOBODY uses balaklava of that type aswell. Smersh is kind of luminescent and i'm not sure what kind of fabric that is. He'd better order proper one from SSO, it's pretty cheap anyway and a real one. Other than that i'm just cherry picking.
