the tender looks a lot like the one my Mikado pulls around. It is also BLI, but of the Paragon 2 series.

2:07 Is 'cut lever', not coupler draw bar...Weird shaping at bottom of fire box above wheel..For the price of these things you'd expect them to get the cosmetics right..

In my opinion they aren't very good models and don't fit any of the prototype models, BLI said they don't do specific road variants but none of them actually look(ed) like this in real life.

Yeah I really don't understand the locomotive manufacturing idea of....let's just make shit up that never existed.

@@kents.2866 It is to save $$$. This 2-8-0 in particular was based on BLI's Pennsy 2-8-0 but to cut costs they got rid of Pennsy features like the Belpaire firebox (yet kept the Pennsy-specific feature of marker lights on the pilot deck) to make it generic-looking as possible like Bachmann's 2-8-0. Since the rumor is the tooling to make the Pennsy 2-8-0's was damaged those same locos are worth their weight in gold now. Glad I got two of them at insane prices.
