I just finished painting my last kit of the box as an syrian artillery OP. Very nice kit. Only the handle for ths shovel on the right side is a bit clumsy. No dealbreaker. Thumbs up from me for both - kit and video.

I'm not the biggest fan of the more modern armoured vehicles, but these are pretty interesting looking and a rather nice kit!

It was a lot of fun to build and I do quite like these. They are a bit of a blast-from-the-past for me as I was interested in Warsaw Pact and NATO forces in the 80s.

Now, in year 2023, I am pondering on getting atleast 10 of these. Especially because ”Nordic Forces” book is released… 😂😅 …also, I have two metal btr-60 toys made in russia. 😂 Pros in living in Finland.

I just bought two boxes of these. Where in the bloody hell does the spare tire go? The only photo I saw was a model kit with it on the roof, where there isn’t a panel. Thanks for the review.

Yeah. The spare tyre is a puzzler. There isn't a "regulation" place for it. It is just a bit of spare kit. I've never used any of mine.

How cool! A very iconic Soviet vehicle. I am sure a lot of people will be very thankful for this. Personally I am sticking with my T-64s and BMPs. Excellent review again Fog of War! Thanks for the video!

Yeah that's funny, when I came to the video, there were 24 views, 3 likes and 1 dislike, and I thought, is Fog of War having a tough time now? Now there's 7 likes and 1 dislike. Anyways, I don't have anyone to play Team Yankee with unfortunately, but I have always stared at the 21 AT on AT-8 Songster which I put on a few of my T-64s. The power! At least I can play solo games with some 1/72 Italeri Abrams I made a while ago, and some Airfix 1/72 US Marines which I just printed off the cards for. In the couple solo games I have played, the Songsters and my BMP-1s Spandrel are making marked impacts on the Americans. Thanks :)

I have the same problem with a lack of opponents. I will be playing my first game of TY at the Red October tournament next month. Learning to play at tournaments is hard and you get creamed to start with, but it is good to get a game. :-) Glad to hear your Russians are doing well in your solo games. As for dislikes, they never leave a comment, so I have no idea what they dislike. Seems a bit pointless. You and I will just have to carry on being *fabulous* and not worry too much... :-)

There are issues with the website and the store can be confusing. But I can't do anything about that. You might want to contact BF Customer Service directly. If you are interested in getting started with Team Yankee there are plenty of videos on KZbin. You might want to watch some of the playthroughs on @modellingforadvantage - they are fun and easy to get you started.

I bought this in my local game shop in Australia, but there are plenty of online sellers on eBay you might try, or try a local games shop in your area.

Really beautiful kit. I don't think I will use them in TY because I don't want to buy 3-4 boxes, but if Battlegroup NORTHAG has BTRs included, I'll pick up a box.

They were a nice fun build. It will be interesting to see what NORTHAG has in store for us.

Because of the price increase BTR-60 is only a cheap alternative when it comes to points. If you wanna field a 11 vehicle coy you need 3 boxes (or 2 boxes and a retailer who sells single sprues). The BTR-70 by that ru*** company isn't much cheapter. So it is no good proxyl. I hope, if TY goes on in timeline we get a BTR-79 or 80 by BF and perhaps a 6 vehicle box. But I don't expect the latter to happen.

Yeah. BTR-70 would have been a good choice for BF. I can see why they went BTR-60, but it was old technology by then.

Lots of players would love to have BTR-70 or BTR-80 in the game. Maybe Battlefront could be persuaded to release a BTR-80 in plastic, but I am not holding my breath! There's always the Zvezda BTR kit, but that is maybe a bit expensive.
