Just got this in the mail yesterday so I’m glad to see the positive opinion here 👍

Another home run 🙂. This along with In Magnificent Style really takes Worthington games to another level👍

The solo system in this one absolutely makes it! Love to see your subsequent opinions there.

Great review! Thanks! . . . at 18:15 you said "If Slouch is going to move . . " a combination movement of Slocum and Couch, or Lincoln's opinion of most Union Generals.

Thanks for this video guys. Could not have been better timing. I have gone back n forth thinking about picking this one up. I really liked Freeman’s Farm (although it took some time for it to grow on me) but I like this system & plays well solo. Sounds like this is a significant move forward with this system & the game looks outstanding on the table. Going to have to pick it up I think.

This is a good review of another good Worthington game I have to think of. Thanks for posting this Grant & Alexander.

A great review of a great game. The solitaire variant works really well and more dynamic than Freeman's Farm. Looking forward to future subjects - W1815 style Waterloo etc. Thanks.

Very good game solo and 2player. And a very nice & interactive designer on bgg. :)

Great videos as always, guys. I only wish you would create some kind of ranking system for the games you review such as a five star review. You guys review so many games, it would be interesting to have you guys create a ranking system for how much you like a game

The best ideals are the simplest ones. If you say to yourself 'Why didn't I think of that?', you know it's a good design.

It's called 1918 Brother Against Brother, it's a CDG about the Finnish Civil war that's supported by Axis and Russian forces respectively. It's published by Linden Lake Games

I think Quebec 1759 was a similar game which was the first out (also by Worthington)

And if I'd waited to watch the whole video before commenting - I'd have heard you mention it :)

There's an internal struggle within me - game looks great and I'm a ACW buff (and ACW historian at the same time - what a coincidence, right?) But I'm afraid it might get repetitive. What's your opinion on that?
@ThePlayersAid3 жыл бұрын
Not an unreasonable concern, but for me it's one where we'll space out our plays of this tacked onto.other game sessions so it'll be a long time before we're sick of it.
