Maurice is also part of the team working on Burden of Command, an upcoming WWII tactical RPG (on PC). He's a great guy and a joy to work with.

Thanks again for a great review! I took your advice and bought Freeman’s Farm 1777 and Napoleon Returns 1815. Absolutely love both games. Worthington is really putting out some great products. I’m interested in maybe purchasing another one of their products called, Hidden Strike: American Revolution. Have you had a chance to look into this one? What draws me to it, is the grand strategy aspect, card driven, can be played solitaire(if you can’t get family or friends together) and I’m a sucker for anything during the revolution.

I haven’t played that one. Let me know what you think.

I’ve seen both red and gray units for the South, are there two game versions?

Not that I am aware of.

Always a pleasure to watch your reviews - Maybe because the kind of games that attract us are close - About the games with the exact historical positions and movements ... mmm ... They are beautiful but not for me: I just like the movements of the units to be a little more free - Napoleon Returns 1815 is a good example with the movements more free while still in some historical limits - But it's just my humble opinion - TY for the video - GG

The reality is that in war your options really are limited, and these games reflect that. I really hope you can play this one or Freeman’s Farm 1777 at some point. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with theme

just an FYI - the CSA pieces are Divisions not Corps

@@TheDiscriminatingGamer There's a Tarawa 1943/Chancellorsville 1863 Kickstarter going online tomorrow. If you see a homeless person with about 20 games still in the shrink, pushing a shopping cart? Somebody Help Me!!! Tom has to start a Game Collectors Anonymous, he's very responsible for my addiction. And so are you. I, of course, have no responsibility. Which illustrates succinctly just exactly how sick I am. No, I'm not buying! Cody, please do a full length playthrough with table talk etc. (the whole nine yards). So, I can at least enjoy this game vicariously. bought half a dozen under $20 games from MMP's November sale (A bunch of SCS+), half a dozen under $20 games + Baseball Highlights from EagleG's winter sale, half a dozen more from buttonshy. And already two Kickstarters on deck (Fire in The Sky, Julius Caesar Deluxe). Facepalm. However, I give half of my game purchases as gifts. But, I now realize that I belong to a new and insidious cult/religion. Just as Christians worship, the BOOK. I worship, the GAME. So help me God. Help us Cody! Please, do some videos on the dangers of boardgame addiction and the Cult of the New and Not So New. Please, hear my cry for help. My cursor is hovering over the, "Back this project" button right now. Should I call, 911?

What's the name of the song in the outro? Also about the game... Has it low replayability?
@TheDiscriminatingGamer4 жыл бұрын
The name of the song is "Sin," (see end credits). One imagines because of the movement spaces on the board that it would not have a high replayability. However, there are many choices throughout the game, so I think it has about as much replayability as any other wargame.
