Great video! Should've also mentioned the cons of patent too though. Like the plastic coating can turn into a sticky surface in humid weather and if it gets any dye transfer or pen marks, what have you, it is stuck on there and Chanel cannot do anything about it.

I always avoid soft leathers such as lambskin like the plague! Too fragile for something so expensive, I only buy bags that are like TANKS that can withstand anything & still look great haha! LOVED your insight as usual! xo

Apparently someone on youtube, who has the lambskin. Has stated the caviar is easier to get damaged. It's not necessarily always a tank. He states and many other people. That lambskin has been more durable then caviar.

I feel like lambskin looks much better on all the Chanel bags, but it's so fragile that it's not worth me buying a lambskin. I'm so clumsy I would wreck the bag within the first week of having it

At the end of this month I plan to purchase a Chanel WOC (I am really excited)!!! I have been debating what type of leather I want. After watching your video you have greatly helped me make my decision (Caviar it is). I am OCD person (e.g. stapling office documents should be 1 staple at the corner or sideways close to edge). I personally love patient! I found similar problems with shoes. I have a beautiful pair of suede heels that get dirty so easily!! I recently bought a pair of Louboutins in black patient leather and I am loving them!! So easy to take care of! +Kittykat Hey sweetie! I can say for sure, they are SOOOO comfortable!!! Seriously, you will love them for that aspect alone. I felt (after a period of thinking about it) that the black were maybe a little masculine. I prefer when there are a couple of colours going on, to break the shoe up a little.. So black & white would be my ideal :) BUT! You should get what YOU love - if your heart wants the black or the white, you should go with your instinct. I am wearing my black pair a whole load, so I'm not disappointed. I hope this helps you! Hugs xo

I love the look so, so much but I don't think I'll ever be able to justify buying a lambskin bag. I use my bags everyday for every occasion. I'm really not that person that takes our my Chanel twice a year so lambskin isn't quite the option for me. Caviar all the way 😙😙😙

My patent jumbo has me terrified of lambskin because the inside is lambskin and already has scratches 😭️ Ive stored it and only Use my caviar but it gets die transfer so easy. I can't find my perfect leather with Chanel
