How fast could it go? Are the specs the same as the boostedboard? That's the dual drive , right?

Yes dual motor, virtually the same spec as the boostedboard considering it's half the price. Top speed is around 18 mph which is not as fast as boosted which I believe is 22mph (BB2) again considering the price it's very good.

hey mike im consedering upgrading the bearings thoughts? the stock bearings dosent seem to spin that much for some reason

Hi James, I would wait... to me the bearings do not seem too bad... stiff at the start but most bearings are, after a while the wear in fairly well I would say, not crappy, "lumpy", or particularly noisy. However if you change them, in my experience with skateboard, inline and scooter bearings, spend GOOD money on bearings from a reputable seller, i.e. not ebay etc. Maybe SWISS or ceramic bearings will give an improvement and without doubt really good bearings will improve top speed marginally.

When the board is switched on and the controller is switched on, press and hold the button on the top of the controller and it will switch the motor into reverse mode.

Jamesbond Quinones Nice, that sounds about the same as mine experience in terms of distance. Going up hills is when you get the most people turn and stare. Probably thinking they wish they one themselves lol

Brandon read it. but i dont believe this happens to all the boards tho... maybe you didnt take care of the battery and of the board itself? maybe you kept it pluged in while its full charged already...

Wouldn't make sense why the motor is 70% what it used to be. I don't know. Wish yours doesn't happen to become mine.

Brandon I read that, interesting review,, I can only get about 15mph out of mine (I did a test a few days ago) I am not sure if it was faster before, maybe I thought it was faster on the first ride but since it has been consistently the same also at about 15mph. Certainly 18+ mph would be better but maybe 15mph is the realistic norm? it seems to be from other feedback I have seen but if you had an extended period at way in excess of that maybe we all have defective batteries or something?

Hi Mike, got the board about two days now. First day fully charged i reached about 20,5mph! i weigh 70kg. it was on a straight road tho. Second day the board still had battery, i reached about 12-15mph. How long do you have your board?

Interesting. It is not the first time I heard this. The funny thing is I thought the same when I first go this but I dismissed it as "first ride bliss" :-) and thought I was dreaming it because I didn't measure it in anyway. Did you measure that speed properly? I have the board now about 4 weeks... I consistently get 14-15 Mph 22-24kph

to put mine in reverse i just press the button once then press forward on the controller.

@ Brandon, i think you have a bad board. I have mine now half a year. I bought 2 boards, together with a friend of mine. And our boards are still the same as they were when we got them. The specs they say, like the speed. Are not right. Never were. It doesn't go harder than 14-15mph. In the beginning i either couldn't go full throttle, but that was not because the board was faster in the beginning. Or the battery was better, because the batteries of us are still good.. It was because i wasn't used to the board. Like riding for the first time in your new sportscar. In the beginning its fast as a ferrari, as you get used to it, its as fast as a prius. I yesterday got my boosted board 2, and the only reason i got that board was because the benchwheel now is to slow for me. And now my boosted board drives like a ferrari, i wouldn't dare putting it full throttle. Lets see if that's the same with me after a month. Haha. I recommend for beginners the benchwheel. Its a good board, and had lots of fun on it. Check my video, were i ride my board true Eindhoven. That i recorded a few weeks ago.
