Neo He does, just doesn’t restock them all that often. There are DRS modulus, demolisher, stryfe, rapidstike, hyperfire, and raven cages, plus a few other 3D printed versions.

I've heard that some cages have too much cant or too much crush and high RPM motors that it whirlybirds instead of spinning and making your shots more accurate.

No, scar barrels only work on high powered sealed breach blasters.

Yeah they'll work at 130 fps, but they still need air to continue to push the dart through the scar barrel. So you need a well sealed breach on a springer or air blaster. Once a dart leaves flywheels, that's it, there is no pressure behind the dart to push it through a scar. A scar barrel on a flywheeler will just kill the velocity if not even stop the dart.

Those Caldwells don't like lighter color darts. I imagine some of those low outliers you had with koosh were because of the light color foam. We've observed similar issues with a friend's Caldwell with light darts. Always get the darkest darts you can for Chrono sessions unless you have an IR gate chrono. :)

That dang gen 4 koosh foam blows man. Same as Raytheon koosh. They are identical side by side. Gone are the days of super thick robust foam for koosh. Might as well just run accufakes now. Great review though! I have a DRS cage sitting around that I have been wanting to try the Neo rhinos in. Thanks for paving the way for me man.

What generation of koosh darts were you using? You mentioned similar performance to xp180’s but from my testing the numbers I’ve seen have been around 10-15 FPS higher with koosh

That's what I expected too. These are either Gen3 or 4 I got them about a year ago when they were transitioning.

Yeah if they are gen 4 or Raytheon koosh the foam isn't any thicker than waffles or accufakes. :( The thicker foam that gen1-3 koosh had is what gave us that jump in velocities.

Neo Rhinos do actually run at a higher rpm than the old Rhinos on top of having more torque. They actually perform a hair better than the original Hellcats. On original Hellcats in my DRS cage I rarely break 120 with accufakes or waffles. With Gen 1-3 koosh it'll hit 135-140. Gen 4 koosh has the same lack luster foam that waffles and accufakes have. The thick foam that they used to have is what help the performance so much.

No they are heaps better than normal rhinos they are even better than normal hellcats just the drs cage has barely any cursh

For a cage that's a few versions in and this expensive,, those fps numbers should be way higher!! Your using neo rhinos on a 3s and ur not even breaking 130! Somethin aint right!!

Senior XJ that’s not the purpose of the cage. This is for the niche purpose of accuracy at low fps for those game types like HvZ

Nickrarri,, yes i know this. I just figured that by now they'd be able to achieve both in one cage. You can buy a $12 ofp printed cage then brass it & obtain the same results for 1/4 the price. I'm building a stryfe now & am trying to find a good middle ground between the two.

No. Torque does not set motor velocity. Snikkas cages cap out at about 135~ with old Gen 3 Koosh and about 110-120~ with waffles or accustrike/fakes, even with more torque.
