Great job! Love the personal details, they helped us see advantages that we didn't think of. We have bad fires here in Canada and the air can be horrible. Looking forward to a summer with this! The consumer reports review said it was loud... how do you find it?

so how many centimetres in front of the fan would you say you still feel the air? (one person used a peice of paper and see how far back it moves)?

I’ve had mine for a month now and the usage info on the display hasn’t moved...so a very long time!

They say it could go 6 month to 1 year but 1 guy used it 3 year and app was still saying its ok but he was like its been 3 years why not change it? LoL.

I cant tell how well the product works from this review. how big of a space does it warm. is the fan strong enough to cool a room of a certain size etc.

It's a Fan... not an A/C unit. It doesn't 'cool' the air... it just blows the room air at its current temperature around.

@Ash A Well, since she refuses to answer easy question... No. You’ll see (ownership) that even though it’s engineered to work together the thinking behind it is wise ...that is, for one feature not to be independent from the other. (I purchased the desk version. Love it!)

mdub2000 I have placed an order, it will be delivered mid June. Dyson advised of delayed delivery due to COVID. I will keep you posted! Needless to say, I am really excited 😆

The Monte Phone i ordered mine and have had it now for week .... i havent had to call customer service...i’ve tested to see how clean it makes the air when cooking and i have to say it’s not bad....it really depends on what i’m cooking how quickly it will clear things up.... but yes it does help to clear some of the smell.... i aim mine towards the kitchen and compared to how it used to be in my flat it’s quite a big help. Its probably not as good as some air purifiers that completely focused on cleaning vs multi function like this one but it does a good job for what it is.... the app even lets you know how the air is changing with particulates and it can definitely sense when i’m cooking....my only gripe would be the cost.... but it is what it is if you want all three functions in one.

I think the later. As it doesn't have a compressor that actually draws moisture out of the air like regular aircons do.

How effective is it at cooling at heating? In my bedroom it gets VERY hot in the summer and VERY cold in the winters.

Don’t buy it for the cooling effect. Just get an air conditioner. I thought it’d be good enough for my bedroom but the cooling feature is a bit pathetic

@ok lol I max my house to cold. Turn off air conditioning. Turn on Dp01 (got the desk version) to “8” until I returned home (air cleaner is automatic). House smells great/air is cool/clean -VS- old rotary fan (which I never had but been in houses that have one) makes funky smell throughout house/cool air stored drops down to warm air...making it frustrating bc you just cooled and cleaned your house. I love dp01!

I was really hoping at some stage given this is 13=mins long you would actually demonstrate the product ie show the various options on the remote control. Zippo. this is the most useless product for that price. Better buy $50 hot/cool fan. Fan air blow is poor. you will not feel air at 5ft distance. You have to sleep right front of it . Not only fan even filter is costly. Don’t waste your money!!
