I have this and I'm pretty impressed with the quality. As far as complete portability you can use power pack from somewhere like AutoZone or Harbor Freight (both have a good quality option, but Harbor Freight has a cheaper one) that has 2 AC outlet ports and run the monitor and the console/device on the outlets for mobile playability. Some power packs are as small as the monitor. With a bit of creativity and a backpack you could have a neat setup.

The power packs are like rechargeable jump start boxes for vehicles. Basically big power banks with AC and DC supply outlets.

Uperfect's monitors are truly more portable. Also at 10” but powered thru USB, so you can use your power banks. Resolution is much bigger at 2560x1600.

Finally found something that works for a teleprompter! Flip the orientation (tells how in the product photos on Amazon) and shows correct orientation in the teleprompter!

I have this monitor connected to my dsld camera and it wont show up full screen for some reason and the image is so dark l cant see it. For some reason l cant seem to be able to fix it

There are settings to adjust the brightness and contrast (both at 100) and screen resolution. That should fix your issues.

The display has an aspect ratio of 16:10. What happens when you pass an HDMI signal in with a different aspect ratio, such as 4:3. Does that add black bars to the left and right, does it zoom the image (cutting off the top and bottom), or does it stretch the image horizontally? Are there menu options to cycle through display options (normal, stretch, zoom)?

It'll display in either 16:9 and 4:3 with 4:3 displaying with left and right black borders and the picture is in correct format. No zooming.
