Your British accent just makes me want to watch it over and over again lol. Good job mate! 👍

You mentioned that the camera screen is blocked by the teleprompter, and suggested a monitor. That is my biggest concern. Thank you.

Hello David. A very interesting video. Have you considered doing an instructional video? Perhaps one for Zoom - how best to set up, lighting, sound etc? Another one for doing your own video, so personal appearance, script and so on. I think that would be very useful, almost everybody is doing Zoom meetings nowadays.

Hi. Thanks. I haven't, as there are quite a few "how to look good on Zoom" videos already on KZbin. I did do a video about my "fireside chat" set up on my other gear channel, see kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5XUn5dsf6qsg7c

Good suggestion. We do a lot of Zoom meetings because of the covid-19 if you know what i mean.

Thanks for the video. Can you please tell me what the difference is between the Glide Gear TMP100 & Glide Gear TMP 500?

Unfortunately, I don't know - probably something to have a look at on their website.

Thank you David, very interesting and informative. Aways like to see a review of items rather than take pot luck as it were. Although i am not into film making myself, I have friends who are involved with an amateur film making club who I will be forwarding your review onto. Best wishes

Hi Does this prompter have a height adjustment for the camera? Didn't seem like a saw one in the video. Thank you

Hi. I don't think it does, no

Very good teleprompter. the only problem I have is that the glue on the Velcro comes out. I have the same one. great teleprompter.

Thank you for the video. Using a teleprompter has a huge benefit, I experienced the advantage of using a Teleprompter and PPT Mirror software: I speak more freely and, of course, ‘‘get my messages across’’ in self -produced videos.I display my PowerPoint in reverse or flip it and put my tablet in the teleprompter and get started, simple, and easy to use. Which leads my videos to more naturalness. Hope this helps

Hey, Can I use this with Sony A6400 with Siga 16mm? Thanks

I don’t know, unfortunately, I have neither of those items. The lens might be so wide that part of the prompter comes into view at the edges, possibly.

Very enjoyable review, I had always wondered how these things worked until watching a good technology connections video. By the way David I think you may have forgotten to turn like/dislike on. I really want to like, but it won’t let me.

Thank you; it’s usually on by default but for some reason the last three videos here had it switched off. Weird!

Stupid question, but when I place the tablet the reflection is always backwards. Am I suppose to mirror the text somehow? I've been flipping my tablet in every direction :/
@TubeShooterMag Жыл бұрын
Whatever prompting app you use on the tablet should automatically flip the text to mirror image so that it looks correct. You have to use a prompting app though! Anything else will of course be mirror image because you're looking at it through a mirror!

I always wondered why your natural pose in your videos was looking straight into the camera lens. I had assumed it was a residual habit from your previous journalistic career but now I know the real reason. It does help to make a much more professionally produced video -- hemming and hawing over how to explain the subject of your video does not make an easy or enjoyable video to watch.
@TubeShooterMag3 жыл бұрын
Ah cheers but no, it's from my TV career as you supposed. I've only used this prompter twice, for my story-reading channel. Everything else I do is and has been straight to camera.
